Lengthy Latest:

Kinda explains our week! So here is a detailed update:

1- Started Home Nx Stage- (blood dialysis) I can only say that  my blood pressure can sky rocket watching Mr. Clark's life (blood) in my hands - literally.
Only lost 2 pints of blood so far...
SERIOUSLY?
I've been told its ok...
blood squirting etc... Oh ya
A new respect for nurses/e.m.t's!
We won't talk about if he gets air in his blood...
 Wooh eeeeh!
STRESS, OH STRESS

It has been terrifying to begin with but we are getting the hang of it.
We are enjoying having only 3-4 hrs instead of all night.

Mr. Clark is still getting 8-10 hrs of work a day in.
and he is feeling GREAT!
He is an incredible person with an incredible job with an incredible team to work with!

2- His surgery to remove his P.D Catheter will be on April 27th
(NOT looking forward to another hospital stay but once again it is narrowing down to our new normal.

AND THE LATEST...

3- A little pin poke/callus on the side of his foot sent us flooding with memories of when he nearly lost his toe/foot in '08, so we took this very serious. Our Doctor sent him to a specialist who sent him for another fitting of special shoes that he's been wearing for years. And for an ultra sound of Mr. C's feet/legs. He has 50% blockage in his veins. They suggested getting his veins router rooted... or even stents put in his legs.

YES, WE SORTA FELL APART
6 surgeries in 6 weeks seemed a bit overwhelming.

And if this surgery happens? We have been worried about  being put on hold with the transplant lists again.
&
yet again
You always think of the pain and recovery.
It took prayer and much meditation to come to
peace and realization that this
'WOULD SAVE HIS FEET'
duh!
After all of this WORRY

We saw the surgeon today. He said that this is surgery isn't too painful.

"IT WILL BE OK"
our Sons response and reminder!

and after today's Dr. appt. with the surgeon
he will try more meds to see if it helps and give it 6 weeks. Then we will go from there.

THE MORAL TO THIS STORY:

Don't over think things--
(my life story- always gotta have a plan A,B,C)
I am convinced that's how I 'deal'
ahhhhhhhhh

Indeed

GOOD THINGS FALL APART SO

BETTER THINGS  CAN FALL TOGETHER.

THINGS WILL WORK OUT!

We heard these words at our Dr. appointments today:

"One more thing you can try"
&
"Things are going well."

Some positive news.

FOR THIS WE ARE THANKFUL!
