HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This is how we welcomed the New Year! After the busy Christmas Celebration we decided to 'Hibernate'
Our neighbors celebrated with fireworks and shooting off cannons(?) So we heard later, but we slept right through it.
Unlike the New Years Party's in Louisiana where they load the trees with miles of firecrackers. Our first year in La, we spent in the emergency with a co-worker of Clark's when he took a 20 ft drop on his rump while filling the tree with firecrackers. Just the firework show in our own neighbor hood was too fun. Miss that!

I am so glad you got your rest. While you were sleeping, we were playing games and hoppin our children up on LOTS of sugar. Happy New Year.
