Much Too Windy, Too Rainy, Too Tired and Too Dark to Fish!

More History-- of the Sante Fe Trail Through Marion, Kansas
Kansas Hedge Balls- many people use them to keep spiders and bugs from entering their homes!
Cranes on the Lake
Oh and this is EVIDENCE THAT WE ARE GETTING "OLD" We had to stop by every HISTORICAL MARKER!!
Mr. Clark had to ask every fisherman at each lake "HOW THE FISHING WAS???"
Counsil Grove Lake
The Day is done!
The day began with packing up the fishing gear and hitting the road. As we drove up highway 77 we got this incredibly smart idea! To see how many lakes we could get to in one day!! Marion Reservoir was TOO WINDY. So we drove to Milford Reservoir up by Junction City, IT WAS TOO RAINY! So we hit I-70 cut down to highway 177 to Counsil Grove, and WE WERE MUCH TOO TIRED and driving by El Dorado Lake it was MUCH TOO DARK so we came home! All in all we had a great day. We know now what lakes we will stay at NEXT TIME for a FULL FISHING DAY!
